He is the god of destruction of the world and is considered gruesome because destruction gives birth to the next creation. Shiva lives in the Himalayas, in the form of a yoga practitioner, with water pouring from his head. The water pours into the Himalayas and is said to be the source of the holy river, the Ganges. He is a very popular deity. *Hand-carved patterns by artisans This statue is specially hand-carved by Nepalese craftsmen, one by one. It is a very time-consuming task to draw patterns on a statue with many curves, but even the smallest lines are carefully drawn. The carved pattern can be one of the following auspicious patterns that represent Tibetan lucky charms: treasure umbrella, goldfish, treasure vase, lotus, white conch, auspicious knot, victory banner, and wheel of law. *The pattern may not be the same as in the photo. ■職人による手彫り模様
こちらの像はネパールの職人が一点づつ丁寧に手彫りした特別仕様。曲線の多い像に模様を描いていくのは本当に大変手間のかかる作業ですが、細かい線の一本一本まで丁寧に描かれています。
彫られている柄は、チベットの縁起が良いものを表した吉祥文様である宝傘、金魚、宝瓶、蓮、白法螺貝、吉祥結、勝幢、法輪のどれかになります。
