■かわいい形の楽器
ずんぐりしたかわいいカエルをかたどった楽器です。ベトナムでは「モーコック」という名前で呼ばれているこちらの楽器は、「ギロ」という楽器の一種で、背中のでこぼこを付属のスティックで撫でてあげると「ケロケロケロ…」と音が響きます。ベトナムやタイ、インドネシアなどでカエルは水にまつわる神様とされ、雨への思いがこの楽器に込められているのかもしれませんね。
