とても派手にWELCOMEと印刷された、約50cmx70cmの大判ポスターです。
このポスター、日本人の感性ではまず浮かんでこないデザインばかりです。極彩色の色の組み合わせとそのグラデーション、コントラストが強いキャラクターや、平和や自由や愛のモチーフの鳥が並んでいたり、豪華に着飾った美しいインド人女性が並んでいたり、花が並んでいたりとても賑やかな気分になります。インドではお店の軒先に貼ったりするようです。あとシンメトリーなデザインが多いんです。
ハートの中にタージマハルが建っていたり、花に囲まれたハトやオウムと孔雀が向かい合って、その中心には真っ赤なハートが佇んでいたり、色やデザインともにカオスな感じです。ポスターから垣間見えるインド人の感性や大切にしているものが見えるのも面白いですね。や
