All items are handmade by the artist, one at a time.
Masanori Tanaka Kitayama Kiln

Masanori Tanaka (56 years old)
Born in Dachi, Tanaka Masanori Tanaka was a potter* who pursued his own unique style of expression, mainly in Oribe. Although he had suffered from kidney disease for many years and was on dialysis, he never stopped creating. Once he was blessed with a donor and successfully underwent transplant surgery, he once again vigorously pursued new works, but in his later years, a fungus entered his body through a red stump, and he quietly passed away while battling immunodeficiency. This collection of his posthumous works is a testament to the fact that he continued to work with soil until the end of his life.
