| The Spode Company (SPODE), a famous pottery company that has made great achievements in the British porcelain world in the perfection of fine bone china and the technique of underglaze painting by copperplate transfer, was granted a Royal Warrant by King George IV in 1806. In 1816, the company introduced the Blue Italian series, the culmination of its copperplate engraving technique, with a motif of ancient Rome, and it has remained a perennial bestseller, loved by customers for almost 200 years. Due to the characteristics of the material, the following points may occur during the manufacturing process, but the product has passed the quality standards of the manufacturer. There is no quality problem. Please understand this in advance. *Because all patterns are painted using transfer paper, there will be shading and blurring of the pattern and backstamp. *There may be pinholes (dents like needle holes), scratches, protrusions, and roughness throughout. *There may be slight coloring on the underside of the piece due to the manufacturing process. *There may be small chips or scratches on the bottom. *There are cases where the glaze is thin around the base of the bottom, or where some of the glaze is not applied. *Small black spots or blotches may be seen due to the nature of the material and the manufacturing process. *Microwave and dishwasher safe. |
