LES TOILES DU SOLEIL(レ・トワール・デュ・ソレイユ)は、「太陽の生地」の名の通り、照りつける太陽と豊かな土壌のスペインに程近いフランス最南端の村「サン ロラン デュ セルダン」で1860年に生まれた創業百六十年の伝統織物ブランドです。
この村は、州都にバルセロナを持つカタルーニャ（フランスではカタラン）と同一の文化圏で、この地域は、ミロ、ダリ、マティス、ドラン、ピカソなど多くの画家に影響を与え、多数のアート作品を生み出しました。
「カタルーニャの魅力的な文化を生地を通じて世界中に伝えたい」そんな思いから、生地の多くには、この地域の地名・人物名・建造物名が付けられています。
