This beautiful piece expresses the traditional beauty of Japan, depicted as if it were a painting. Cotton loan material is a thin, light and airy plain weave fabric. It is pleasant to the touch and has a luxurious feel. Utamaro Kitagawa [One Beautiful Woman]. This handkerchief is based on the motif of Kansei Bijin by Kitagawa Utamaro, an ukiyoe artist of the Edo period famous for his paintings of beautiful women. Three color schemes are available, differing not only in the frame and background, but also in the color of the kimono. |
