One easy way to care for the inside of the bottle is to use citric acid. Dissolve a few tablespoons of citric acid in hot water and let it sit for up to three minutes. Then, after dumping out the water inside, rinse well with water and dry thoroughly. In addition to citric acid, a solution of vinegar and salt, or baking soda and lemon can also be used to remove black stains.
