Description
| This skirt is made of fabric made by Kalamkari, a traditional technique of block printing in which woodblocks are carefully carved by hand and pressed one on top of the other, and dyed with colors extracted from the bounty of nature. Kalamkari is a traditional craft of the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The deep, yet gentle orange color, which is unique to grass-dyeing and blends in well with the skin, will calm the heart of the wearer. The light and soft texture of the Indian cotton will make you feel the wind in your face and give you a rich expression every time you walk. We hope you will enjoy the fine "gaps" and "overlapping colors" unique to handmade work, which are unique to each and every one of you. |
