Description
| Gyuto knife made in Tsubame-Sanjo. The balance between price and quality was determined to make this a suitable kitchen knife for a first knife. The blade is made of molybdenum-vanadium steel manufactured in Japan, the handle is integrally molded with polyacetal resin, and the blade edge is honed by Sanjo, Niigata kitchen knife craftsmen. The blade length is 18 cm, the size of a standard household Gyuto knife. The weight is 123g, not too light, not too heavy. It can be cleaned in a household dishwasher and is easy to care for on a daily basis. Can be sharpened with a simple sharpener. Regular sharpening with a whetstone keeps the blade sharper. The blade and handle are integrally molded and will not come loose. *Caution*. It is not designed to cut frozen foods, crustaceans, or bones. Although the material is rust-resistant, it is not completely rust-proof. After use, wipe off any dirt or moisture before storing. |
