ZACK's graphite coated finish uses a surface treatment technology called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating. This technology, which forms very thin films at the atomic*molecular level, vaporizes materials such as metals and ceramics in a vacuum and physically deposits them on the surface of the base material (object to be treated), producing a hard, durable film. The graphite finish produced by this PVD coating is characterized by its deep dark gray color, which has both a massive feel like black stainless steel and a metallic texture.
