ZACK's graphite coated finish uses a surface treatment technology called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating. This technology, which forms very thin films at the atomic*molecular level, vaporizes materials such as metals and ceramics in a vacuum and physically deposits them on the surface of the base material (object to be treated), producing a hard, durable film. The graphite finish produced by this PVD coating is characterized by its deep dark gray color, which has both a massive feel like black stainless steel and a metallic texture. ZACKのグラファイトコーティング仕上げは、PVDコーティング（Physical Vapor Deposition／物理気相蒸着）と呼ばれる表面処理技術を採用しています。原子・分子レベルで非常に薄い膜を形成するこの技術により、金属やセラミックスなどの材料を真空中で気化させ、基材（処理対象物）の表面に物理的に堆積させることで、硬く耐久性に優れた皮膜を生み出します。このPVDコーティングによって生まれるグラファイト仕上げは、深みのあるダークグレーの色調が特長で、ブラックステンレスのような重厚感と金属らしい質感を併せ持っています。 その色味から、日本においては「ガンメタ」と呼ばれることもあります。
