A knit series with a rough knit texture and a nuanced color scheme.

This colorful knit cardigan shows off three types of expressive knitted fabrics. Three types of yarns are used: slub yarns, gima-processed yarns (processed with a resin made from konjak to give a crispy texture), and special slub yarns with a yarn shape opposite to that of ordinary cotton slub yarns. The switching positions and the knitting fabric are made by utilizing the unevenness of the knitting fabric, making this an elaborate piece of knitwear. From soft shades to subdued tones, both colors blend naturally with your styling. The knitting is quite transparent, so you can play with the inner color. Its lightweight comfort makes it easy to use during the changing seasons, and it can be worn as a woven or as a top, making it a highly wearable piece.

MALAIKA Made in Japan

MALAIKA knitwear is spun from high quality Australian wool in Yamagata, and dyed and knitted in Fukushima.

There used to be 250 knit factories in Fukushima, but due to the influx of foreign products and the earthquake, there are now only eight.

Among them, skilled craftsmen and world-class Japanese knitting machines continue to keep the light of craftsmanship burning with unchanging passion.

China, Peru, Nepal ...... MALAIKA has been in contact with knitwear from all over the world, and this is something we realize once again.

It is the certain beauty and strength of "Japanese knitwear".

100% selected wool.

MALAIKA delivers to you a piece of clothing that breathes with accumulated skill and pride.
