| Shinzan Kiln Yamatsu: Kiln-Changed Glaze “Kukuri” Sencha Bowl “Unohana” A charming tea bowl crafted with a kiln-changed glaze that exudes a unique character. This “kukuri” (tied) style is slightly flared to make it easier to cup against the lips. It is a modern reinterpretation of the size and shape of the Kise Tenmoku tea bowls that first appeared during the Muromachi period. The glaze is available in a total of 10 colors. “Unohana” is the white shade in the series that makes the color of the tea appear most beautiful. A slightly yellowish white, it is named after the early summer flowers that bloom on the utsugi tree. Since the Heian period, the sight of small flowers covering the branches has been used as a metaphor for whiteness. Koban glaze is a type of glaze whose color is determined by its location within the kiln, as well as the temperature during firing and cooling. The sencha we deliver features a glaze color that reflects the seasonal temperatures of the day as sensed within the kiln. No two pieces are exactly the same— please enjoy the unique variations in hue of each piece. *Koban glaze is greatly influenced by kiln temperature, primarily resulting in distinctive yellowish-brown tones. 独自の個性が広がる窯変釉薬を使った趣きある茶器。
口元をキュッと結んだような形が特徴の、くくり（結び）型
煎茶碗を口に沿わせやすいよう少し反っています。
室町時代に登場した黄瀬天目茶碗の大きさ形状を現代風にアレンジしました。
釉薬は、全10色展開。
卯の花-うのはな-は、シリーズで最もお茶の色が綺麗に見える白色。
僅かに黄味がかった白色、空木（うつぎ）の木に咲く初夏の花です。
平安時代より小さい小花が枝いっぱいに咲く姿は白さを表す言葉として用いられました。
窯変釉薬とは、窯の中の場所、上り温度冷めてゆく温度で色が決まります。
お届けする煎茶は、窯の中でその日の季節温度を感じ取った釉薬の色。
ふたつとして同じ色はない、
ひとつひとつ色合いの違いをお楽しみください。
※窯変釉薬は窯の温度を大きく影響を受け、主に黄色味のこげ色の個性が出ます。
こげ多めは、こげの模様がランダムに入ります。
同じ色を複数お買い上げの場合においても色味が揃わないこと
