These bags are handmade one by one by craftsmen in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, the largest bag-producing city in Japan. This bag is a gem that I was deeply involved in from the planning stage. It is a business bag with a stick threaded through the base of the handle, which is not often seen. This creation requires a high level of sewing skill, and is truly a showcase of the craftsman's skill. The main body is made of lightweight nylon with a rough texture and has a unique tension due to the bonding process. The glossy zipper that goes all the way to the bottom of the main body glides smoothly and opens with a snap at the front fabric turn when the side belt is lowered. The zipper has a bar to provide stability and opens neatly. By removing the side belt, which detaches with a hook, and removing the Velcro tape on the inside divider, the bag can be opened a full 180 degrees. You can open it up to the side when you are on the road, and open it wide when you are at the office or at home to organize your belongings. The inside of the main body, made of Katsuragi canvas, is a calm beige color that gives it a luxurious feel and makes it easy to see your luggage and organize it with mesh pockets and open pockets with hooks. The handle is thick enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and the zipper pull is made of genuine leather, so the more you use it, the more it will fit in your hand. The bottom of the main body has four studs to protect it from scratches and dirt, so you don't have to worry about where to put it. In addition, a shoulder belt in the same color as the main body is also included, so you can carry more luggage without worry. It can also be used as a backpack by attaching the belt to the D-can on the upper back of the bag. The cute vertical shape makes it suitable for women as well. 5983*5984*5985 are available in a series, so if you display all three items together, they will attract a lot of attention. 鞄生産日本一の街、兵庫県豊岡市で職人が一つづつ手造りしています。今回のバッグは私も企画段階から深くかかわった入魂の逸品です。
あまり見かけない、ハンドルの付根に棒が通してあるビジネスバッグです。この創りは高い縫製技術が要求され、まさに職人の腕の見せ所です。
本体はざっくりとした風合いの軽量ナイロン製でボンディング加工が施されているので、独特の張があります。
本体底面まで回り込んだ艶のあるファスナーは、滑りも良くサイドのベルトまで下げると前面の生地の切り返し部でパカッと開きます。棒が入っているので安定感もあり、すっきりと開きます。
ホックで外れるサイドのベルトを外し内部の仕切りのマジックテープを外すと、180°のフルオープンも可能です。出先ではサイドまで、オフィスや自宅では大きく開いて荷物の整理が出来ます。
カツラギ帆布製の本体内部は落ち着いたベージュ色で高級感もあり荷物も見やすく、メッシュポケットやホック付のオープンポケット等整理もしやすくなっています。
手のひらへの収まりの良い太さのハンドルや、ファスナーの引き手は本革製で使うほどに手に馴染んできます。
本体底面には、傷や汚れから守る鋲が4個付いているので置き場所にも困りません。
さらに、本体同色のショルダーベルトも付属していますので荷物が増えても安心です。背面上部に仕込まれているDカンにベルトを通してリュックとして使うこともできます。
