About Ata Products
All Ata products are made of Ata, a plant native to Indonesia, which is torn into pieces, woven into shapes, dried in the sun for about one week, and smoked for about two more days to prevent insects* and bacteria. Since the entire process is handmade, there may be slight differences in size and shape. Unevenness in the smoking process may occur in rare cases. In addition, since the pieces are woven together, there may be protrusions on the edges of the weave. We hope you will understand the above points as warmth peculiar to handmade products. About care Please brush along the weave with a commercially available brush or toothbrush. If you do not use the product for a long time, please store it with desiccant (silica gel, etc.). Cut protrusions and wisps in the weave with nail clippers or the like. About the durability of atta Ata products are so strong and carefully woven that they can be used for more than 50 years.
