| The double-layered keeper cup has become a familiar sight by now. It is the amazing technology of Mr. Kiyoyama. The key point is that it is hollow. This prevents the temperature of the liquid inside from being transferred to the outside, so even if coffee or tea is heated in a microwave oven, the outside is not hot and can be removed immediately. なんと言ってもポイントは中空になっていること。
これにより、中の液体の温度が外側に伝わりにくいので、コーヒーやお茶などを電子レンジで温めても、外は熱くないのですぐに取り出せます。

☆ご購入前に知っておいて頂きたいこと☆
カップの裏側に小さな穴があります。
この穴は、カップを焼成時に膨張して割れるのを防ぐために、空気を抜くための穴として、開けてあります。
「その穴から水が入るのでは？」と疑問になりますが、大丈夫です！
改良を重ね、穴の部分は釉薬（焼き物をコーティングしている液で、無害です）で閉じられており、穴の中に水は入らない仕組みとなっています。
穴が開いた部分が真空状態になっている感じなので、膨張を防ぎ、レンジでチン！してもOKなんです♪
