The mark of the scissors used to pull out the bowl from the kiln at high temperature is left. The marks on the base of the bowl are also a part of the scenery. [About Kyo-yaki* Kiyomizu-yaki] Kyo-yaki has formed a unique and elegant cultural climate over the millennia of the capital's history.
