| The ECWCS parka is an extreme cold weather garment that was officially adopted by the U.S. military in the late 1980s. It has an Army-style hood and slash pockets. This softshell parka is made of thinner and lighter nylon fabric than the actual ECWCS parka. The silhouette is slightly tighter and arranged in a modern style for a stylish look. It has underarm ventilation that can be opened and closed with a zipper. Front closure with double zipper and snap buttons. The cuffs are equipped with Velcro adjusters and other functional features.
