古くからベトナムの伝統工芸品である、水牛の角。
ベトナムでは、寿命を終えた水牛の角や骨を大切に使用しています。
素材の形を見て切り出し、硬い部分のみを厳選して板状にしてから、熱を加えながら曲げて、丁寧に手作業で整形していきます。
その後水に浸けてからヤスリで磨き、徐々に目を細かくしながら合計3回磨きます。
そのため、一個の水牛の角から小さなフォークやスプーンは数本分しか取れない、貴重な素材です。
個体によって形・色合いが異なります。天然の優しい色合い・口当たりのなめらかさをお楽しみください。
