1958年滋賀県出身。青山学院大学中退。
学生時代からイラストレーターとして活躍し、88年ザ・チョイス年度賞・優秀賞受賞。
資生堂をはじめとする企業広告や雑誌のイラストレーションなどで活躍。
89年からカルチャースクールでイラストレーションの指導にあたり、 2006年にイラストスクール「F-SCHOOL OF ILLUSTRATION」を開校。
生徒の長所を伸ばす独自の指導方法と、多彩なカリキュラムにより プロのイラストレーターを多数輩出する。
