| Searching for Happiness between Cats and People "SAVE the CAT"! Original cat goods by the magazine "Neko" and cat-loving creators. We are donating a part of the proceeds from the sales of these products, under the title of "SAVE the CAT", to organizations and communities engaged in cat protection activities! The designer for this project is Mr. Akira Uno, who has depicted cats in many of his works. He himself is a big cat lover and lives with two cats at home. This illustration is of Masaka, a cat, and her owner Noriko, who appear in Sachitomo Imae's book "Yukineko Chan. Masaka is compared to a croissant at the beginning of the book, and is a perfect match for the bread plate! The historical Minoyaki bread plate can be used for breakfast, or simply displayed as a stylish plate! [Akira Uno] Born in Nagoya in 1934. Graduated from Nagoya Municipal Kogei High School, Department of Design. After working at Nippon Design Center and Studio Infill, worked freelance. He has received the JAAC award, JAAC member award, Kodansha Publication Culture Award, Sanrio Art Award, Akai Tori Illustration Award, Japan Picture Book Award, Zenkoren Japan Advertising Award Yamana Award, Yomiuri Theater Grand Prize Selection Committee Special Award, and others. He received the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 1999 and the Order of the Rising Sun in 2010. He is a member of Tokyo Illustrators Society. |

小誌「ねこ」とねこ好きのクリエイターによるオリジナルねこ雑貨。
私たちは、”SAVE the CAT”と題してこちらの商品の売上の一部をねこの保護活動を行う団体や地域に寄付しています！
今回デザインを手掛けてくれたのは、これまで多くの作品の中でねこを描いてきた宇野亞喜良さん。
ご自身も大のねこ好きで、ご自宅では2匹のねこと同居中。
こちらのイラストは今江祥智さん著書「ゆきねこちゃん」に登場する、ねこの”マサカ”と飼い主の”のりこ”。
本の冒頭でマサカはクロワッサンに例えられていて、まさにパン皿にピッタリ！
歴史ある美濃焼のパン皿は朝食に活躍させても良し、プレートとして飾っておくだけでもとってもオシャレ！
＜宇野 亞喜良＞ 1934年名古屋生まれ。
名古屋市立工芸高校図案科卒業。
日本デザインセンター、スタジオ・インフィルを経てフリー。
日宣美特選、日宣美会員賞、講談社出版文化賞さしえ賞、サンリオ美術賞、赤い鳥挿絵賞、日本絵本賞、全広連日本宣伝賞山名賞、読売演劇大賞選考委員特別賞等を受賞。
1999年紫綬褒章、2010年旭日小綬章受章。
東京イラストレーターズソサエティ会員。
