Ukiyo-e world Suzuki Harunobu, Kitagawa Utamaro, Utagawa Hiroshige, Utagawa Kuniyoshi ...... The masters of Ukiyo-e devoted themselves not only to actors and beautiful women, but also to pictures in which children played the leading roles. This collection features approximately 170 works from Takumon's collection of children's Ukiyo-e, which collects the best of these works. The collection features a fresh and unique world of Ukiyo-e cut out with the element of "play," including lively expressions of children playing, parents and children enjoying each other's company, and "toy pictures" filled with a playful spirit. 加藤 陽介(かとう ようすけ)
練馬区立美術館学芸員。専門は日本近世絵画史。
主な企画浮世絵展に『小林清親 文明開化の光と影をみつめて』(練馬区立美術館ほか)、『国芳イズム—歌川国芳とその系脈』(練馬区立美術館)、『芳年 激動の時代を生きた鬼才浮世絵師』(島根県立石見美術館ほか)がある。
