Description
This is a beautiful kyusu (teapot) made of Tokoname ware, formed on a potter's wheel by Mr. Hirotaka Umehara, the second generation traditional craftsman of Gyokko Toen in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The lid is perfectly closed with the world's best technique. The kyusu is beautiful from all angles and looks like a work of art. A technique called "tobikanna" is used to create a continuous line of shavings using the edge of a tool called a flying plane. The gradation of the color of the bowl is also attractive, as it changes to vermilion, the original color of Tokoname ware, as it moves toward the bottom. There is no tea strainer, and the body of the cup has many fine holes (sera mesh filter). This is a sophisticated technology that can only be produced by Tokoname ware in the world. Unlike ordinary tea strainers, there is no metallic smell, and when hot water is poured, the tea leaves dance around inside the teapot for a delicious taste. |

通常の茶こしと違い金属臭が無く、お湯を注ぐと急須の中で茶葉が踊り美味しくなります。
