『ポイポイ急須』は、持ち手付きの茶こしなので
茶葉を楽に捨てられるお手入れ簡単な急須です。
茶注・急須・ティーポット。
歴史的にも世界的に有名なものは、
宜興の茶壺(ちゃふー)と呼ばれている後手の茶注です。
宜興はイーシンと中国で発音するので
イーシンティーポットとして世界中に普及しています。
日本では、茶注・茶銚と呼ばれていました。
日本でも室町時代から宜興の茶壺が輸入され、それは明治時代まで続き、
後手型の茶壺は日本の茶注の手本にもなり各産地で作られました。
また江戸時代には、横手の茶注が作られるようになりました。
現在流通している横手の茶注は江戸時代以後に作られたもので、
その後日本の茶注の主流になり『急須』と呼ばれるようになりました。
こちらの商品は陶器製による焼物です。
陶器の原料は粘土なので、本来吸水性があるものです。
そのため水を通さないように釉薬をかけております。
焼成温度は粘土や釉薬に温度を合わせるので磁器より低くなります。
古来焼締の茶器はお茶を美味しくすると言われており、
中国の宜興の茶壺が代表的なものとして挙げられます。
