| *To protect the repaired area from the heat of the iron. *Used to remove excess shellac or gloss. Preparation: Remove any wisps or stains from the scratch. Next, using a hard, round object such as the handle of a toothbrush, crush and smooth the edges of the flaw. 2. Filling: Melt Shellac Glossy (sold separately) with an electric iron (sold separately) and fill in the flaw. If the colors do not match, melt two or more Shellac Glossy on the tip of the iron and mix them together with a bamboo skewer or toothpick. *Put more than the scratched area. *3. Protect from heat: Apply a generous amount of heat protectant to the filled area and surrounding area, wider than the width of the trowel. 4. Forming: Keep the electric heating iron at a 45 degree angle to the filled area and pull it toward you to flatten and form in two or three batches. *Wipe off any excess shellac glaze on the iron with a cloth each time. *5、Coloring (drawing the wood grain): If the wood grain of the repaired area is broken, use a wood grain pen (sold separately) to add the wood grain. *After drawing dots, use steel wool (sold separately) to blur the dots for a natural finish. If you have drawn the wood grain too thickly, you can reproduce the wood grain more naturally by rubbing it lightly with steel wool (sold separately) to blur the grain. |
