This is a rolled skirt called [Ghagra] of the Ahir tribe, an agro-pastoralist tribe in the Kutch region of Gujarat, western India.
It is decorated with a lot of mirror work and embroidery, and is both decorative and amuletic.
The mirror work is circular in shape only, and geometric or floral motifs are chain-stitched on it, which is characteristic of the Ahir people.
