| The mineral name is rhodochrosite (rhomanganese ore), and the name is derived from the Greek words rhodon, meaning rose, and chrom, meaning color. The contrast of red and white is beautiful, and the Inca Rose is nicknamed the Rose Pearl of the Inca Empire. [meaning "seven-star formation"]. It is one of the typical magic circles.
