Description
| We call our "katsuobushi shaving machine" "katsuobako" (dried bonito box). This product is an original product of our company, which has been making dried bonito shavings since the Showa period. Oza" is a bonito shaver with an SK steel blade. The outer box is made of Tsuga wood, and the planing board is made of natural wood. SK steel bonito planer blade is a simple bonito planer blade. It is very light and strong. The feeling of sharpening is that of strong resistance due to its sturdiness. We recommend it to those who want a reasonable price and prefer a type with a drawer. For those who do not need a drawer, we recommend [katsuobako Kotohajime]. The powdered part can be used as a natural furikake (sprinkled on rice or in miso soup) to enhance the flavor. The flower part can be used as a partner for tofu or ohitashi (boiled rice). It is also highly recommended for use in rice with egg. Bonito flakes are divided into male (dorsal) and female (ventral) flakes. One piece of bonito produces 4 pieces of dried bonito flakes (2 male flakes x 2 * 2 female flakes x 2). [Male joints (dorsal side) The taste is stable and less peculiar when made into dried bonito flakes. If you are not accustomed to shaving, it is easier to shave the male shavings. [Female joints (ventral side) Since it is the belly, it has a lot of oil content and can easily turn to powder when shaved. However, there are many people who prefer the taste of the female section, and we encourage you to try shaving the female section. Please experience the taste of male and female shavings.
