| Sukeroku handles small Edo hobby toys near Hozoin Temple in Asakusa's Nakamise district, and we have selected charming toys to make postcards that will bring good luck to those who receive them. *The text introducing each picture is written on the back of the card in both English and Japanese, making this postcard suitable for both domestic and international customers. [Inuhariko] Inuhariko are a specialty of Edo, and were given as a gift when a child was born on the first visit to the shrine. [They ranged from a small one called "keshi" (8 cm high) to a large one called "oizunashi" (60 cm high). Since it is made of paper, the dog is the original mascot to protect children, and even if a small child accidentally bumps into it, the dog will break. Card size: 148 x 100 mm |
