As you can see in the picture, the heartwood of the tree is green. This tree is actually good for cutting boards. The knives bounce well and make a good [thump thump] sound! It is sometimes used to make xylophones, so it makes sense that the sound is good. It is also branded so that you can tell the reverse side.
