| We have reproduced the sunburst paint of high-end guitars as closely as possible. This ballpoint pen looks like a musical instrument, with urethane paint sprayed on natural wood with an airbrush. Each piece is painted carefully and painstakingly. The beautiful gradation-like body paint looks as if the grain of the wood can be seen through it. [How the sunburst paint was created] Sunburst paint on guitars is what is called a blurring effect. The effect is to give continuity to the body color. This paint is derived from stringed instruments essential to classical music, such as the violin, and has become synonymous with high-end guitars. Even today, instrument makers such as Gibson and Fender prefer to use the high-end sunburst paint. *Walnut [Features] A high-quality material counted as one of the four most famous woods for European furniture. (The other three are oak, mahogany, and ash.) The grain of the wood is somewhat indistinct. It has a warm grayish-brown color with a slight purplish tinge (individual differences exist). It is strong and tenacious, lightweight, and easy to work as it is one of the softest hardwoods. It has a glossy appearance, which becomes more attractive with age and the influence of tannins. A typical U.S. timber. [Uses.] One of the finest woods for furniture because of its strength, tenacity, low distortion, and ease of processing. Used for crafts, miscellaneous goods, and interior materials such as flooring and doors. Most rifle buttstocks (grips) are made of walnut. |

一本一本、丁寧かつ丹念に塗装。木目が透けて見えるかのようなグラデーション調の美麗なボディ塗装。＜サンバースト塗装が生まれた経緯について＞
ギターにおけるサンバースト塗装は、いわゆるぼかし効果のことです。ボディカラーの連続性を持たせる効果があります。
この塗装はバイオリンなどのクラシック音楽に不可欠な弦楽器に由来としていることから、高級ギターのいわば代名詞となりました。
現在でもギブソンやフェンダー等の楽器メーカーも高級感溢れるサンバースト塗装を好んで採用しています。
●胡桃/ウォールナット
＜特徴＞
ヨーロッパ家具四大銘木の一つとして数えられる良質素材。（残り三つは、オーク、マホガニー、アッシュ）
木目はやや不明瞭。少し紫かかった灰褐色の暖かみのある色をしており（個体差あり）
強度と粘りが高く軽量で、広葉樹としては柔かい部類のため加工は容易。
艶もあり、経年変化とタンニンの影響でより味わい深くなる。
米国産材の代表格。
＜用途＞
強度と粘りがあり狂いも少なく、加工が容易なため家具としては最上級の材の一つ。
工芸用、雑貨、フローリングやドアと言った内装材。
また、ライフルの銃床（グリップ）のほとんどがウォールナットを使用する。
