The kizakizaki (a kind of "kizakizaki" in Japanese) at the mouth of the wind bell is a device to improve the tone. 一点一点ガラスを吹いて成形し、内側から手で絵付けをしています。鳴り口の部分がキザキザなのは、音色を良くするための工夫です。
日本の夏の風物詩 〜 江戸風鈴 〜
江戸時代中期、長崎よりビードロ師がガラス風鈴を江戸に伝えました。当時、ガラス製品は非常に貴重なものでした。その後、江戸の問屋が技術を習得し、江戸中の庶民にもガラス風鈴が親しまれるようになりました。
創業大正四年 篠原風鈴本舗が文献にもとづき名付けた「江戸風鈴」。
本製品は同工房で一点一点手作業で作られています。
※風鈴の鳴り口部分に手指を当てるとケガをする恐れがありますので、お取り扱いには十分にご注意ください。
※江戸風鈴の製法上、気泡が入っておりますが品質には問題ありませんのでご了承ください。
