| 18-8 stainless steel kyusu made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, a production center for kitchenware. A classic kyusu is finished in stainless steel. The form is sharp yet somehow warm. The surface has a matte finish. The beech knob and rattan-wrapped handle are designed to accentuate the design while preventing the water from getting hot even when filled. With a tea strainer, you can enjoy a fine taste of tea. It can also be used to make herbal tea or black tea with a modern feel. *Caution*. If you fill it to the full capacity, it will overflow when pouring. 7 to 8 parts water is considered the appropriate capacity. Not for use with direct flame or induction cooktop heaters. New in 2020 |
