| This is a traditional bent-wappa lunch box. The wood absorbs excess water when rice is placed in the box, allowing the rice to be served without losing its flavor. The wisdom of the ancients is still alive in this product. This is a safe and secure product made in Japan using Kishu lacquerware. To keep this functionality intact, wash it properly and dry it thoroughly. *About care*. The corners of the lunch box are prone to stains. Please use a commercially available soft sponge or cloth to remove dirt. You may also use household dishwashing detergent (non-abrasive). We recommend washing with lukewarm water. Finally, rinse with hot water, wipe dry with a cloth, and place in a well-ventilated place out of the sun. Dry it naturally in a well-ventilated place out of the sun. *If the smell of lacquer (paint) is bothersome at the beginning of use Warm rice water and mix it with a small amount of vinegar. ☆お手入れについて☆
弁当箱の隅の方は汚れが残りやすいので、
市販の柔らかいスポンジや布などで汚れを落としてください。
また、家庭用食器洗剤（漂白研磨剤なし）の使用は構いませんが、
ぬるま湯などで洗われることをお薦めします。
最後に熱めのお湯ですすぎ、布巾などで水分を拭き取り、
日の当たらない風通しの良い場所で自然乾燥させてください。
☆使い始めに漆（塗料）のにおいが気になる場合☆
米のとぎ汁を温め、少量の食用酢を混ぜて拭いてください。
日の当たらない風通しの良い場所に置いてください。
