| This red seal book has a dignified impression with a pretty floral pattern. The book is made of an elegant fukure-ori weave. * Thick Japanese paper that does not easily transfer sumi ink to the back * Bellows style. * 24 pages on one side, 48 pages when used front to back. * Can be used at both shrines and temples. [Fukure-ori" is written in Chinese as "bulge weave. It is one of the Jacquard weaving techniques, in which the pattern is uneven like a bulge. The three-dimensionally woven fabric has a unique hand-feel and a luxurious feel. Because of the beauty of the weave, which changes its expression depending on how the light hits it, this fabric has long been popular in Japan for use in kimonos, obis, and other items. --- Fabric : Fukui pref. *KAYA* A fusion of old Japanese traditions and new culture.
