Yakusugi cedar The Yakusugi cedar tree, which is over 1,000 years old, grows wild on the World Heritage Site of Yakushima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture, and is said to be inhabited by spirits. It is characterized by its fine, beautiful grain and unique fragrance, and its strong purifying and sterilizing effects are said to regulate the body and mind. Since logging has been prohibited since 2001, we use naturally fallen trees that have been buried in the ground, but in recent years, it is said that these buried trees are close to exhaustion, and their rarity is increasing. 屋久杉
世界遺産である鹿児島県屋久島に自生し、精霊が宿るといわれる樹齢千年以上の屋久杉。
細かく美しい木目や独特の香りが特徴で、強い浄化・殺菌作用は心身を整えるといわれ、古来より長寿・開運・厄除けの象徴とされてきました。
二〇〇一年から伐採が禁止されている為、自然倒木した土埋木を使用しておりますが、近年この土埋木も枯渇間近といわれ、その希少性は高まっています。
四神聖獣
