| Teak is a kind of tall tree belonging to the teak genus of the family Cyperaceae, and is a high-grade wood that is also known as one of the three most famous woods in the world. It has a smooth surface due to its oil content, and is highly resistant to water and durable. In the 20th century, Scandinavian furniture designers used teak for chairs, chests, and other items, and it is probably more commonly seen in Scandinavian and mid-century furniture today. [Teak Frame A4] is a frame with a calming, antique-like wood texture. The frame is beveled at an acute angle to give it a sophisticated atmosphere, but its simplicity allows the photos and postcards placed inside to stand out. The surface is made of transparent acrylic board. Light and easy to handle, it can be used in places where heavy frames cannot be placed. 古くは寺院や船舶など巨大な建造物に使用されて来ましたが、20世紀に入り北欧の家具デザイナーたちが椅子やチェストなどにチーク材を使用したことから、現代の私たちにとっては「北欧やミッドセンチュリーの家具でよく見かける木材」というイメージの方が強いかもしれません。
[チークフレーム A4]は、木の質感がまるでアンティークのような落ち着きがあるフレームです。
フレーム部分が鋭角に面取り加工され洗練された雰囲気を持っていますが、シンプルなので中に入れる写真やポストカードが引き立ちます。
表面は透明アクリルボード。軽くて扱いやすく、重いフレームを置く事ができない場所にも使用できます。
チェストの上に置いて壁に立てかけたり、壁に飾ったり。
