This tenugui hand towel for outdoor use is useful in situations where there are "restrictions" on what you can carry with you. Antibacterial A finishing process in which the fabric is soaked in green tea extract (tea catechin). This gives a naturally occurring deodorant* antibacterial effect. 100% Cotton Coarse-grained, roughly woven [sentence] fabric is used. It has excellent breathability* absorbency and becomes softer as it is used. Made in Japan All processes of weaving, dyeing, and sewing are done in Japan. A gem of craftsmanship that shines through. Brand Story The brand name comes from "Andrias japonicus," the scientific name for the Japanese giant salamander. The salamander's appearance has not changed for about 30 million years, yet it still has the potential to evolve. They also live in the mountain valley deep in the upper reaches of the Kamo River in Kyoto, where our factory is located.
