| Made in Japan: Warm enamel cutlery handmade by craftsmen Blanc Blanc is a series of metal cutlery made in Tsubame City and coated with enamel by craftsmen. The enamel coating provides a smooth feel in the mouth and allows you to enjoy the original flavor of the food. It is also easy to clean and does not transfer food odors. Enamel is made by covering the surface of metal with a glassy coating and baking it at high temperatures. Enameled products are durable, heat-resistant, and heat-retentive. The glassy surface also prevents odors from sticking to the surface, making it easy to keep clean, but it is vulnerable to external shocks. Each enameled product is handmade by craftsmen. Some items may have marks left by the wire used to hang them during the baking process, or iron filings from the wire. The finish of the piece is sanded, which may also leave streak-like marks. These are not defects. The handmade products are handmade by craftsmen. Because they are handmade by craftsmen, they have the warmth of human hands, and no two pieces are the same. Blancは燕市で作られた金属カトラリーに職人がホーローコーティングを施したシリーズです。ホーローコーティングにより口あたりの滑らかさや料理本来の味をお楽しみいただけます。また食べ物のにおい移りも少なくお手入れがしやすいのも特徴です。
ホーローは金属の表面にガラス質の被膜を被せ高温で焼きつけたものをいいます。そのためホーロー製品は、耐久性・耐熱性・保温性に優れています。また表面がガラス質のため匂いがつきにくく清潔さを保ちやすいですが、外部からの衝撃に弱いことがあります
ホーロー製品は一つ一つが職人による手作りです。
品物の中には焼き付けの際に針金で吊るした跡や、針金の鉄粉がつくことがあります。仕上げにやすりをかけて削りますが、その際に筋のような跡もつくことがあります。これらは決して不良ではありません
