Many metal accessories are difficult to care for because of their dull color and rusting. At Metal Studio Art's, only the surfaces of brass and bronze accessories are dyed black by sulfurizing them with chemicals.
This is done so that the jewelry will become your favorite after one or two years (except for silver). Each piece of brass is hand tarnished and dyed, so the color will vary from piece to piece. The sample images are finished brighter in anticipation of after use. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the color.
