Description
| The indigenous Nero*Davola grape variety is the main ingredient in this blend of Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet*Franc from three Planeta-owned vineyards in each region - Menfi, Sambuca*di*Sicilia, and Noto - that bring varietal-specific character to this wine. Dark cherry red. Aromas of berries and pepper, smooth and dry on the palate. The power of Nero d'Avola, Sicily's most famous indigenous grape, combined with the softness of Merlot, creates a very good balance, bringing out the best of each grape and making this wine fresh and exceptionally pleasant to drink. It is an ideal red wine for daily drinking. It can be enjoyed young or after 2 to 3 years of aging. |
