| This is a collaboration product between ORIONS Ruler and the Bamboo Shaku Manufacturing Studio, which has been making bamboo shaku for the past 60 years. Only carefully selected domestic madake and moso bamboo are used in the bamboo shaku, of which the percentage of domestically produced products is minimal. *The texture is lighter, better smelling, and softer to the touch than resin or metal. *The scales are laser-quenched to make them hard to erase. *Bamboo has a strong backbone and thermal expansion is very small, making it difficult for the scale to go out of alignment. *The scale is a zero start scale with the scale displayed from the edge of the body, so you can measure height, depth, and depth.
