| natural rock Chopstick rest Whale shark Whale shark is one of the most popular patterns in the cocomarine series. We made a three-dimensional version of this popular character. I made a chopstick rest. For mass production, a mold is used to create the shape, but first, I would like to introduce the particulars of the mold. 1. In order to give a shark-like appearance, we curved the fins to give them a sharpness. The tail fin is swung to the left to give the appearance of swimming. The size of the dots was carefully chosen to express the unique whale shark pattern in a cute way. We introduce our attention to the finishing touches after the shape has been created in the mold. 1. The shape of the fins is hand-formed to bring out the sharpness of the fins. 2. Careful finishing is required so as not to erase the patterns in the mold, such as the eyes, dots, and mouth. 3. The four blue colors are made to have two colors, a colored glazed part and a white part, by using a water repellent. 4. For the four blue colors, the eyes are painted by hand. By skillful use of molds and the addition of careful manual work by craftsmen, the work is finally completed. This whale shark barge is full of points of attention. It is available in five colors. Four blue colors and a white baked from. Karayaki white can be painted with your own colors to create the one and only whale shark in the world. Depending on the painting material, the color will fade when washed, so do not use them as chopstick rests, but display them in your room. [Oil-based pen] If washed with detergent, the color will fade / If you touch it while painting, the color will stick to your hands. [Coupe] When washed with detergent, the color will remain in some places. Chopstick rest Whale shark
cocomarineシリーズでも大人気の絵柄ジンベイザメ。
そんな人気者を立体化。はしおきを作ってみました。
量産する為に、型を使って形を作りますが、まず型へのこだわりをご紹介します。
1.サメらしさを出すためにヒレにはカーブを付け、シャープさを出しました。
2.動きを感じるよう、尾びれを左に振り泳いでいる様を表現。
3.ジンベイザメ特有の模様を可愛らしく表現する為、ドットの大きさにもこだわりました。
型で形を作ったあとの仕上げへのこだわりをご紹介します。
1.ヒレのシャープさを出すように、形を手作業で整えています。
2.目の部分やドット部分、口の部分など、型に仕込まれている柄を消さないよう、丁寧な仕上げが必要です。
3.青系の4色は、撥水剤を使って、色付きの釉薬部分と白い部分の2色になるようにします。
4.青系の4色は、目を手作業で描いていきます。
型を上手に使い、職人による丁寧な手作業を加えることによって、やっと完成する。
こだわりポイント満載のジンベイザメのはしおき。
色は5色。
青系の4色と、から焼き白。
から焼き白は、自分で色を塗って、世界に一つだけのジンベイザメを作ることができます。
画材次第では、洗うと色が落ちてしまうので、箸置きとしては使わず、部屋に飾っておきましょう。
【油性ペン】洗剤で洗うと、薄くなる／塗っているときに触ると、手に色がつく
【クーピー】洗剤で洗うと、ところどころ色が残る／塗っているときに触っても、ほぼ色はつかない
【クレヨン】洗剤で洗うと、ほぼ消える（少し色が残る）／塗っているときに触ると、手に色がつく
【色鉛筆】洗剤で洗うと、ほぼ消える（少し色が残る）／塗っているときに触っても、ほぼ色はつかない
【水性ペン】水で洗うと、完全に消える／塗っているときに触ると、手に色がつく
色々試した結果、色鉛筆が一番使いやすかったです。
