This product is made of fabric woven using an old-fashioned technique known as "mixed weave.

[What is "Ko-ori"?]
Mixed weave is a weaving technique in which two or more different types of yarns are used for the warp and weft. Mixed weaving of natural fibers such as cotton and silk, cotton and hair, etc., has been widely used since ancient times.

This time, two types of yarn-dyed threads are used to create an original fabric.

[Yarn-dyed yarn]
We dye the yarn using persimmon tannin, sumi ink, and other dyes. Kakishibu and sumi dyeing is a time-consuming process in which each thread is soaked in the dye several times.
Although it takes time to complete the process, the warmth and unique texture of the fabric is the result of this time-consuming process.
By interweaving persimmon tannin yarn with sumi and indigo yarns, a new texture is created.
The persimmon tannin turns into a deeper color as the years go by, and the more the indigo is used, the more it tastes better. You can enjoy the changes woven by both.

[Product Features]
The chunky shape of the Gamaguchi is a versatile item that can be used as a cosmetic pouch or accessory case. The mouth opens wide, making it easy to use.
The checkered fabric used inside is Ise cotton. Ise cotton, which has been used since the Edo period, has a soft texture and a somewhat warm finish.
You can enjoy the contrast between the rugged outer fabric and the soft atmosphere of the inner fabric.
