| These socks combine linen yarn made from first-class flax from the Normandy region with Mino washi yarn made from traditional Japanese paper. They are light and comfortable to wear even in summer. Mino washi yarn is a natural fiber filament made from traditional Japanese paper made in the Mino region, located on the banks of the clear Nagara River, and slit twisted using special techniques. Manila hemp used as the main raw material for Washi is strong and water resistant. It is also considered an environmental resource because it grows in just a few years. Washi yarn is called [shosegami] and has been used in Japan since ancient times. Compared to cotton yarn, it is lighter and stronger, and has excellent air permeability, moisture absorption and desorption, and anti-odor and anti-bacterial effects.
