Description
| It is an old type of circular knitting machine introduced from Europe. It is difficult to secure production backgrounds due to the small number of existing weaving machines, and now there are only a few left in Wakayama, a rare knitting machine in the world. The characteristic of this machine is that it does not apply extra tension to the yarn and knits it slowly and carefully, resulting in a soft and fluffy fabric with the natural texture of the yarn itself. On the other hand, the bursting strength of the fabric is more than twice as strong as that of fabrics knitted on today's knitting machines, making it possible to use it for many years. It is said that only 12 T-shirts can be knitted per day on a hang knitting machine. Using a vintage sewing machine made by Union Special in the 1960s, we use a flat seamer (4-needle flat stitch) with flat seams from the sides to the sleeves. Since the sewing process is more complicated than that of a normal sewing machine, the sewing speed is slower and production efficiency is lower than other sewing machines, but please enjoy the expression that only this sewing machine can provide. The sleeve and hem ends of the side seams are finished with karakan, which leaves the sewing threads intact, in order to faithfully reproduce the vintage world view and to create details that reflect the production background of the time. The shoulders are raglan sleeves, which are not tight, and the ease of wearing has been upgraded. The fabric is soft and fluffy, so it is comfortable to wear even when touching the neck directly with a turtleneck. The moderate elasticity of the hang-knit jersey fits the body well and does not lose its shape. We recommend this turtleneck for a wide range of outfits. |

特徴としては、糸に余分なテンションを掛けず、ゆっくりと丁寧に編み立てる事で糸そのものの自然な風合い、柔らかでふっくらとした生地となります。
その一方で現在の編み機で編まれた生地よりも破裂強度は倍以上も強く、長年愛用して頂くことが出来ます。
吊り編み機でTシャツの生地を編んだ場合は、一日に僅か12枚分しか編むことが出来ないと言われております。
1960年代のUnion Special社製のヴィンテージミシンを使用し、脇から袖にかけては、縫い目が平坦なフラットシーマ（4本針扁平縫い）を採用しております。
通常のミシンよりも複雑で縫い合わせる為、他のミシンよりも縫製速度は遅く生産効率は落ちますが、このミシンでしか味わえない表現をお楽しみください。
ヴィンテージの世界観を忠実に、当時の生産背景まで意識したディテールにする為に、脇の縫製の袖先と裾先には、縫い糸をそのまま残す空環（カラカン）仕上げとなっております。
肩周りはラグランスリーブで、肩のつっぱりが無く、着易さがグレードアップしております。
柔らかでふっくらとした生地感ですので、タートルネックの直に首元に触れても着心地が抜群です。
吊り編み天竺の適度な伸縮性は、体に程良くフィットしあまり型崩れせず、着こなして頂けます。
