Description
| It is an old type of circular knitting machine introduced from Europe. It is difficult to secure production backgrounds due to the small number of existing weaving machines, and nowadays there are only a few remaining in Wakayama, a rare machine in the world. The characteristic of this machine is that it does not apply extra tension to the yarn and knits it slowly and carefully, resulting in a soft and fluffy fabric with the natural texture of the yarn itself. On the other hand, the bursting strength of the fabric is more than twice as strong as that of fabrics knitted on today's knitting machines, and it can be used for many years to come. It is said that only 12 T-shirts can be knitted per day on a hang knitting machine. The pattern has no sewn shoulders, and the pattern is designed as if the front and back were two pieces of paper. The silhouette is characterized by a dolman-sleeve look, with the shoulder area falling into a slouchy silhouette. The rolled-up cuffs are also a point of interest. This new line is produced at a sewing factory in Tokyo, which has rare and valuable sewing machines and skilled techniques among the remaining sewing factories. |

特徴としては、糸に余分なテンションを掛けず、ゆっくりと丁寧に編み立てる事で糸そのものの自然な風合い、柔らかでふっくらとした生地となります。
その一方で現在の編み機で編まれた生地よりも破裂強度は倍以上も強く、長年愛用して頂くことが出来ます。
吊り編み機でTシャツの生地を編んだ場合は、一日に僅か12枚分しか編むことが出来ないと言われております。
パターンは、肩の縫製がなく、型紙上、前身頃と後ろ身頃を2枚合わせた様なデザインです。
ドルマンスリーブっぽくもあり、肩周りがストンと落ちる様なシルエットが特徴です。
袖口のロールアップもワンポイントですね。
残存する縫製工場の中でも希少価値の高いミシンや熟練の技術を持つ、東京の縫製工場で生産する新しいラインです。
