伊勢神宮式年遷宮のご神木の里として知られる岐阜県中津川市付知町。
自然豊かな山里にある新井製材所で作られています。
地元で育った木材を原木の状態で仕入れ、製品になるまでの全ての工程をここで行っています。
どんな木も大切な資源。
無駄なく使いきれるよう製材の段階から考えられています。
広葉樹である山桜はヤニがでず、木肌が美しいのが特徴です。
固く腰がある為、傷がつきにくく、使い込むほどにあめ色に育っていきます。
