| This product, produced in collaboration with the Earthquake Research Institute of the University of Tokyo, also includes information on the Tohoku and New Zealand earthquakes. *Earthquakes of magnitude 5 or greater that occurred in the world in the past 30 years are plotted on the map. *The epicenter is indicated by a circle, the magnitude is indicated by its size, and the depth of the epicenter is indicated by its color. *A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the product will be used to support the areas affected by earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. *When assembled, the dodecahedral globe is created. *No tools such as glue or scissors are required for assembly. |
